Isn't the colplug part only related to acpi_dsdt_add_memory_hotplug()? I understand the patch also adds some hotplug infra? Can't you just keerp the dsdt additions here, move the virt-acpi changes in the original patch and move the virt-acpi instantiation in a subsequent patch?
