The next round of the Outreachy open source internship program (https://www.outreachy.org/) runs from December 5, 2017 to March 5, 2018. Internships are 12-week projects that consist of paid, full-time, remote work contributing to open source projects.
Regular QEMU contributors are invited to participate as mentors. A mentor helps their intern contribute by answering questions, reviewing code, and giving feedback. This usually involves around 5 hours of volunteer work per week for a mentor. Mentoring is fun and rewarding.
