Greetings, If I turn on the hardware virtualization in BIOS and then run qemu the host machine will freeze giving no details on what might cause the freeze. I did try the -no-kvm & -no-kvm-irqchip qemu will work and there will be no freeze.
As you can see from the info below, CPU is Intel's E6600 and motherboard is SuperMicro something with ICH7. This problem is always reproducable and it happens each time I try running qemu with kvm. KVM modules are loaded, so this shouldn't be an issue. Oh, another fun thing is that I am building a cluster and I have four computers like this, all exactly the same and the problem exists on all four of them. If anyone can shed any light on this problem I'd appreciate all the help.
