Reply this thread for completeness in case someone else wants to try U-Boot on qemu-x86. The latest U-Boot git repo (http://git.denx.de/?p=u-boot/u-boot-x86.git;a=summary) contains U-Boot bare-metal support for QEMU x86 targets (i440fx and q35), as well as being loaded from coreboot. Regards, Bin
