The have a been a bunch of rather recent changes to the kernel to support guest VLANs correctly. The issues have been around TSO/GSO implementation in the kernel. Could try disabling TSO/GSO and tx checksums on the vlan devices in the guest and see if it solves your problem? If it does, could you try the kernel from git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net.git turn the offloads back on and see if the problem is solved?
