There are some target-specific functions that qmp_dump_guest_memory() (and its callees) depend on. For example, see "stubs/dump.c": - cpu_get_dump_info() - cpu_get_note_size() and "qom/cpu.c": - cpu_write_elf64_note() - etc. These have a real implementation for the i386 and s390x targets only. I don't know why the 1.2 changelog stated otherwise. Probably a typo / unwanted paste from the x86 section. Laszlo
