I just wanted to pipe in to simply say that I am (sort of) concerned
about this (unless I am misunderstanding things).

I had intended to look further into getting 3D acceleration into qemu,
especially for legacy Win98.  I was thinking of basing it on Radeon
R300-R500.  I think this would be quite a challenge, especially for me.
