I'd be great if you could push this repo ahead of time so that we can test it prior to the cut off and release. Honestly, when a patch is selected to be shipped in a stable release it'd be great if it was backported and pushed into that stable repo as that would allow for more testing of the stable series. I know this increases your maintenance burden but it would enable more distros to provide you more meaningful feedback on stable releases so that they are truly stable. -- Doug Goldstein
