Performed following trial and errors for OS installation/boot, but no luck so far 1# windows 8 installation on NVMe Namespace partition with GPT formatting done manually -it’s giving error and unable to complete the installation 2# windows 8 installation on QEMU ATA partition and GPT formatting done automatically by installer -it’s hanging all the time at the same place(similar observation posted by one person, so looks like QEMU+OVMF limitation with Win8) 3# fedora 18 installation on NVMe Namespace partition and GPT formatting done manually -it’s rebooting the UEFI shell 4# fedora 18 installation on QEMU ATA partition and GPT formatting done automatically by installer -it’s allowing to complete installation. But when I reboot OVMF system after that, it flashes error. 5# Ubuntu12.4 installation on NVMe Namespace partition and GPT formatting done automatically - when I choose the install option from UEFI Shell, it hangs at black screen. * * Please provide steps to perform Win8/Fed18/Ubuntu12.4 installation on NVMe Namespace target connected to QEMU + OVMF system. Also if anyone have any pointer(/limitations) to resolve this, please share that also. thanks in advance! -Baban
