On my end I also need to add -machine acpi-pcihp=off in
test_acpi_aarch64_virt_tcg_numamem

Yeah, by reading the code I'm pretty sure this is required by the numamem 
variant
as well but I don't see a failure here :( I have _no clue_ why the failure 
doesn't
happen on my env. Are you running simply "make check V=2"? arm64 host?
