Should the roms/skiboot submodule also be updated ?
I see it has generally been updated on skiboot releases with versions,
eg. 7.1, 7.0. No newer version available for upstream/master.

Sorry didn't know this. I just checked the git log of skiboot.lid and
thought maybe it's this same way of sending patches.
