This would mean our user interface is confusingly different across different board models, and also if we have a board that currently only supports SD card but later we add support for (say) a SATA interface then we have the choice of breaking the "default is fastest interface" rule or breaking everybody's old command lines, neither of which sound very good. -- PMM
