[patch] use PYTHON_EXT_SUFFIX for .so
Python 2 support for this and other ports that package Python standard library
components will be dropped, due to converting the port builds to PEP-517, which
is not supported in Python 2. Most likely the separated components will be
built as part of lang/python27, which at this point only has a few consumers
remaining.
