Yes, when USE_PYTHON=distutils is overhauled to, among other things, use
devel/py-setuptools58.

What I meant is, that the newest release of whatthepatch needs at least
version 65.0.0 of setuptools:

That's why I asked if there are plans to update setuptools to this version.
