Package: python-matplotlib
Version: 0.99.3-1
Severity: normal
Many of the examples in the matplotlib gallery use the function
matplotlib.cbook.get_sample_data. When I try to run some of these examples, it
fails because get_sample_data does not exist. If I import matplotlib.cbook and
do a dir(matplotlib.cbook), get_sample_data is not listed. get_sample_data is
listed in the online documentation but not in the python-matplotlib-doc
package. Is get_sample_data just missing because Debian is not up to version
1.0 of python-matplotlib? If so, when will the package be updated? If not,
why is get_sample_data missing?

exactly: debian has 0.99.3 while online doc refers to 1.0.0
> If so, when will the package be updated?
soon, when it's ready.

Explained above; not a bug, closing it.
