Package: python-numpy Version: 1:1.3.0-3 Severity: wishlist File: numpy
Growing number of python packages using sphinx to build their documentation uses numpy's conventions, thus require sphinxext-ensions from numpy (e.g. docscrape*py, numpydoc.py etc). Unfortunately those, although present in numpy sources, are not provided with any of the binary packages in Debian. I am not sure if those should be provided under numpy module umbrella (since they are not actually there), e.g. numpy.doc.sphinxext . May be it could be numpy-sphinxext ? It might be worth also consulting "upstream" I guess ;) -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (901, 'unstable'), (900, 'testing'), (300, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages python-numpy depends on: ii libatlas3gf-base [liblapack.s 3.6.0-24 Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra ii libblas3gf [libblas.so.3gf] 1.2-2 Basic Linear Algebra Subroutines 3 ii libc6 2.10.1-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.2-2 GCC support library ii libgfortran3 4.4.2-2 Runtime library for GNU Fortran ap ii liblapack3gf [liblapack.so.3g 3.2.1-2 library of linear algebra routines ii python 2.5.4-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.11 register and build utility for Pyt python-numpy recommends no packages.
