Package: python-scipy Version: 0.7.0-1 Severity: normal The three line program:
from scipy import sparse arr = sparse.dok_matrix((1, 1)) arr[0, 0] = 0 fails with a KeyError. This is fixed in scipy svn, so the next release should fix the bug automatically. The fix in svn is a change to the definition of __setitem__ in scipy/sparse/dok.py if value==0: should be changed to if value==0 and self.has_key((i,j)): but waiting for the next release will solve it automatically.
