Package: python-numpy Version: 1:1.1.0-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Python-numpy seems to be unusable for python 2.5 in lenny. This is a fresh upgrade from etch, just aptitude install python-numpy after the upgrade. [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11:21:57 ~> python2.5 -c 'import numpy' Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: No module named numpy [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11:22:22 ~> python2.4 -c 'import numpy' [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11:22:25 ~> reportbug python-numpy I do not know if this is really grave, since 2.4 seems to still exist in lenny and it can be used instead, so perhaps this is just serious. -Juha -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (1200, 'testing'), (999, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages python-numpy depends on: ii libatlas3gf-base [liblapack.s 3.6.0-22 Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra ii libblas3gf [libblas.so.3gf] 1.2-2 Basic Linear Algebra Subroutines 3 ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.1-9 GCC support library ii libgfortran3 4.3.1-9 Runtime library for GNU Fortran ap ii python 2.5.2-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.8 register and build utility for Pyt python-numpy recommends no packages.
