Guess I was mostly waxing unjustifiably nostalgic to back when I was a "free lance" for hire, hm?-) Google does have Windows programmers, of course (such Windows apps as Google Earth, the Toolbar, Google Desktop, Picasa, etc, didn't spring into existence on their own...!-), but I'm not even sure if there's any Python there (my work's mostly on the infrastructure, server-side part of things, so I don't really know much about our client-side stuph).
