Second, What on earth are you talking about? "f" is a file object, correct? Are you trying to close a file by typing f.close or is the file closing when you type f.close? If you are trying to close a file with f.close without parenthasies, then i _realy_ hope that this did not work, as f.close is nothing but a class method and should be treated like one except when called.
