pywin32 *is* available for Python 3.6. Either from https://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/files/pywin32/Build%20220/ (a wininst installer, which is not compatible with pip but which nevertheless can be installed in your system Python) or from http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/ which hosts a lot of wheels for Windows,or as pypiwin32 from PyPI (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pypiwin32/220).
