I'd like to modify some images in pdf files -- specifically, extract the image, process it to give it a comic strip type of coloring (using pillow), and then put it back.
I see there are several pdf libraries, but a cursory examination did not reveal which, if any, had a method for extraction and replacement of embedded images.
