Are you sure that 'global' is widely assumed to mean global to a *file* in proper CS theory? Coming from C....I assumed 'global' meant global to ENTIRE EXECUTABLE!?!? You even admitted you also thought 'global' was confusing in past! So how can you say you think CS community in general won't have any problem like we BOTH did????
