Yeah, I know about TaskCoach as well ;-/ (sorry, should have posted some of these ... ). It is much more oriented towards _execution_ of projects than tracking information about projects. Having said that, it's a while since I looked at TaskCoach, and perhaps it has changed or can be configured closer to what I have in mind. Thanks for the reminder.
