That's not evidence, that's a prophecy. What I'm seeing is a bad shift in the Python culture. What's next? Unboxed objects? Unsafe objects? Micromanaged GC? I'm afraid Python will lose its taste. Why not let Java handle its niche? Maybe Go is the way to go for some applications? C++ might have its uses. C is still the weapon of choice in many situations. Python is perfect already.
