Would that things were as straightforward as they are in the books, but anyway

You didn't need to remove Python 3.4.
When you typed:
python setup.py install
it defaulted to Python 3.4, presumably because that was the last one
you installed.
You just needed to be explicit instead:
C:\Python27\python.exe setup.py install
