I understand that you are a supporter of PEP 225, but please have some courtesy towards other developers. We can explore alternatives in parallel. If we all worked on exactly the same thing (much less the one thing that only you get to choose), we would forgo a lot of valuable experience. You can point out the flaws of Elementwise's implementation and compare it to the virtues of PEP 225 without being so demanding. He doesn't "need to tell" you a damn thing.
