OK; the python 2.7 issues is http://bugs.python.org/issue8036 Let's see if I can get a fix in before the next release! Not quite sure whether the 2.2 issue is the same but it's looking like being a W7 / CRT-related issue. I'll keep looking TJG -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
