Luke Kenneth Casson Leighton, 01.09.2010 17:14:
this is to let people know that a first milestone has been reached in
an experiment to combine git with a file-sharing protocol, thus making
it possible to use git for truly distributed software development

Basically, BitTorrent only works well when there are enough people who share a common interest at the same time. Why would you think that is the case for software development, and what minimum project size would you consider reasonable to make this tool a valid choice?

If you're more like targeting in-house development, it could become a little boring to be the first who arrives in the morning ...
