Is there conversion method to convert pyunicodeobject to pybyteobject?

Hi All,

A variable whose data type is PyUnicodeObject is to be assigned to varioable of 
PyBytesObject type 

example :

PyUnicodeObject *p = ...whatever...; 
function( (PyByteObject*p)); 

compiled and got a Bus Error.
