On Jan 6 I inquired how to "fix" the 3.1.1 interactive terminal in Ubuntu Linux. Left arrow yields ^[[D , etc.
casevh helped by suggesting "libreadline5-dev" be installed. Did so with Synaptic Package Manager. The behavior of the Python 3.3.1 terminal is unchanged but the 2.6.2 terminal is corrected.
