Sorry about that Frank. You have to create a project (New --> Project) and add your file to it then Run-->Run. This is a bug that slipped past because we do all of our development using projects and hadn't even tried the obvious: open file and run. That fix has made its way to the wx folks, but hasn't been released yet.
