Surely you use more than one-character indents? If
that's so, you can just insert the "if 0:" using, say,
two characters indentation instead of the usual four.
Then the following four-character-indented code is
removed.
Alternatively, use ''' and ''' surrounding the code
block and it will be ignored.

python,
but i'm saying if it will be so, it will be easy and quickly _debug_ some
skripts,
_not only_ for commenting
