Just a few quick questions on your proposed design: 1) What tools, if any, do you propose to help developers package for this platform? 2) How do you plan to deal with applications that change or depend on system-wide settings, ie, conf files, kernel version, or the registry? 3) What advantages do you see this having over, say, porting portage or apt-get?
