You can create files with more than 4GB on a 32bit OS, too. It depends on the file system. It works with NTFS but I'm not sure how FAT32 deals with large files. My DVB-S receiver with USB port chokes on files with more than 2 GB. Christian -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
