I have been using PIL for generating images, however it does not easily support operations with transparency etc.
I tried to install aggdraw but it wouldn't compile. Ideally I'd like something open source so I can adapt it, hopefully mostly written in python rather than C. Is there any other decent image libraries for python? -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
