One solution is to read the input yourself character by character, and
delete anything that is not printable.
Another solution may be to prevent sending non-ASCII to the server, ie check
such things after enter is pressed.

Thanks for your quick answer, however I'm not sure how I can do any of those things.
I would appreciate if you could tell me how to do that, give-me a link to a how-to about
that or the location of that in the python-docs, as I can't seem to find anything about that.
