Hi, I found something interresting.
First, MBF Files come from metastock software but i use another one (MLDownloader) to get quotes and convert them to MBF format probably using functions you've just described (C, borland,...). In final, all my files are created by mldownloader. 2nd, I've tried to modify quotes directly in metastock.
