I am running Python2.4.3; I need to install Python-dev (or does anybody know an easier way to get distutils.core ? that's what I actually need...). All the versions of python-dev I can find don't match. I get always error message
"error: Failed dependencies:
python = 2.4 is needed by python-devel-2.4-14.i586"
Any suggestions ?
