I'm not even sure about the need for syntax beyond what we already have.
Yes, it would be nice to write:
speed = 15 ft 3 in / 3 sec
but is it really so painful to use existing syntax?
speed = (15*ft + 3*in) / (3*sec)
I don't think so.
