The PSF has nothing to do with it. The Python language is controlled by the core development team. Well, it doesn't have any control in any case. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, depending on your view of the PSF. Whether or not Python is having a case of featuritis obviously depends on who you ask the question :-) I personally would answer yes (at least since PEP 572, and definitely with the pattern matching PEPs), while others would certainly answer no. In the end, note that featuritis is not a lethal disease. C++ is doing fine. Python won't die because it has pattern matching (it won't be flourish because of it, either).
