Christoph Gohlke <cgoh...@uci.edu> added the comment: Creating bdist_msi installers with files such as 'aixc++' (containing '+'), '.buildinfo' (starting with '.'), and 'py.~1.5.~' (containing '~') currently also fails, even with the proposed patch.
