STINNER Victor <[email protected]> added the comment: r83973 ignores the name argument of PyFile_FromFd() because it was already ignored (it did always produce an error) and it avoids my complex _PyFile_FromFdUnicode.patch. Thanks Antoine to having notice that name was ignored.
