Michael Foord <mich...@voidspace.org.uk> added the comment: I still think that user editable configuration data, at least on windows, is different from application data. It would definitely seem weird to me to have a config file in the %APPDATA% directory.
%APPDATA% would be fine for a cache or other application specific data. On Windows I would expect something like: "c:\Documents and Settings\AppName" (Note the settings in Documents and settings... - although in Windows 7 I think this might just be Documents now.) ---------- _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue7175> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
