Charles-Francois Natali <neolo...@free.fr> added the comment: In real life, you can receive for example SIGSTOP (strace, gdb, shell), but mostly SIGCHLD (any process spawning children), etc. The attached patch just restarts calls when EINTR is received, as is done in subprocess module.
