Antoine Pitrou <pit...@free.fr> added the comment: Yes, a test could use Google or gmane (according to the FAQ, nntps is supported: http://gmane.org/faq.php ). The test should skip gracefully (using the skipTest() API) if the connection fails, so that network errors or service unavailability don't make buildbots go red.
