New submission from John Gardner <python.20.hux...@spamgourmet.com>:
The output example for timedelta in datetime package has the wrong output for the supplied commands. For example: >>> ten_years, ten_years.days // 365 (datetime.timedelta(3650), 10) should be: >>> ten_years, ten_years.days (datetime.timedelta(3650), 3650) (or perhaps, days changed to years. It's very misleading to have these strange numbers as output. Also, the comments to the right don't seem to be relevant. ---------- assignee: georg.brandl components: Documentation messages: 96514 nosy: georg.brandl, huxoll severity: normal status: open title: datetime.timedelta doc has incorrect output type: behavior versions: Python 2.6, Python 2.7, Python 3.0, Python 3.1 _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue7531> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
