I get the same error with Python 2.6.3 (and gcc 3.4.5): E:\downloads\pycairo-1.8.8>python setup.py build --compiler=mingw32 cairo >= 1.8.8 detected creating pycairo.pc creating src/config.h running build running build_ext building 'cairo._cairo' extension error: Unable to find vcvarsall.bat wasn't it supposed to be fixed (since 2.6.2) ?
