Brett Cannon <br...@python.org> added the comment: I'm on OS X 10.6 and I *thought* I was using GNU Readline 6. But if my backtrace implies otherwise something must have gotten messed up somewhere on my end. When I deleted Readline and rebuilt everything worked fine.
