Ronald Oussoren <ronaldousso...@mac.com> added the comment: The fact that it seems to work on the trunk is accidental, another bug causes the code to go into a branch for a "old" version of Tk even when running on a newer one. The code in the "new" branch triggers the bug.
I've committed a fix in r72945, although I'm not too happy about the patch.
